All new SmarterMail licenses include one year of Software Maintenance, allowing you to download updates and continue using optional modules. If optional modules are added over time, they automatically inherit the same expiration date.
When SmarterMail maintenance expires, the product continues to function normally but it will no longer be possible to:
The cost of renewing the SmarterMail license depends on whether it is renewed before the expiration date or afterward.
In the first case, the renewal cost is 40% of the new license, and the original expiration date is extended by 1 year. In the second case, the renewal cost is 85% of the new license, and the expiration date is extended 1 year from the renewal date.
At each license renewal, additional modules that you wish to retain must be repurchased.
The SmarterMail license, as well as optional modules, can be upgraded at any time to a different version or with more mailboxes. This requires a specific request to commerciale@coretech.it.
Downgrades are not possible.
