Sygma Connect's (SC) resource monitoring measures performance counters at regular intervals. If the average of these measurements within the user-specified interval exceeds the threshold, an alert is triggered.
It allows monitoring of six types of parameters: CPU, RAM, DISK, NET, IO, and Windows Events.
Important: This function is available only if the SC client is associated with a Sygma account. (See association guide.)
Setting up a monitoring rule is straightforward:

Type is the type of probe being created and corresponds to one of the previously mentioned types.
Param is an optional parameter used to control the probe. For example, if the probe type is DISK, the Param field is used to specify the name of the disk to monitor. If you enter "C", the probe will apply only to the C: volume; otherwise, if the Param field is left empty, it will apply to the total sum of all existing disks.
In the case of an EVENT probe, for example, it can be left empty.
Condition is the condition (less than, equal to, or greater than) checked against the set Value.
Value is the threshold value to monitor and must be expressed in the unit used by the monitoring type (e.g., CPU is in percentage, RAM is in GB, IO in bytes per second, and so on).
For an EVENT probe, the Value indicates the Windows Event ID to be monitored (Windows Event IDs).
Interval is the time frame in which the average of the measurements taken by Sygma Connect must exceed the threshold value for the alarm to be triggered.
Message is the subject sent along with the alarm.
Clicking on Add Contact allows you to select the users who will receive the alarm.
It is possible to choose between Ticket, Operator, Mail address, and Telegram message.
It is possible to add multiple contacts to receive the alarm.
Once all parameters have been set, simply click "✓", and the rule will automatically become active.
It is also possible to create the same rule on multiple peers simultaneously. To do so, simply click the "+ Monitoring" button at the top left in the side menu.

The corresponding rule creation Wizard will open.
The first step is to choose the type of monitoring to create among Resources, Events, and Security.

In the second step, you can set the rule parameters exactly as described previously.

In Step 3, you will be able to select the recipients of the alarm.

In Step 4, you will be asked to select all the peers to which the rule will be applied. You can choose individual peers or entire groups.
Finally, in Step 5, a summary of the rule to be created will be displayed. Once you click "Create", the rule will be applied to all the selected peers.
