Service provided
Update newsletters regarding hardware and software products and IT services from the data controller and third parties, as well as events, training courses, webinars concerning the related technical, commercial, economic, legal related issues, commercial communications, and marketing activities related to the aforesaid goods and services
Types of data processed
The types of data processed are:
common data
The personal data of natural persons (interested) that are processed with the aforementioned service, are collected through a special form and are of a common category, such as identification data (name, surname) and email address.
Purpose of the processing
The personal data of the interested party will be used for:
provide the applicant with update newsletters regarding hardware and software products and IT services from the data controller and third parties, as well as events, training courses, webinars concerning the related technical, commercial, economic, legal related issues, commercial communications, and marketing activities related to the aforesaid goods and services;
for marketing and advertising purposes relating to the aforementioned products and services;
for IT security purposes, for which IT personal data are processed to a strictly necessary and proportionate extent to ensure the security and ability of IT systems to withstand, at a given level of security, unforeseen events or illegal or malicious acts, which may involve the violation of personal data stored, transmitted or otherwise processed;
to possibly ascertain, exercise and defend the rights deriving from the aforementioned service by the data controller in extrajudicial and judicial offices;
to fulfill any type of obligation provided for by laws, regulations or community regulations, or by provisions issued by Authorities legitimated by the law or by supervisory and control bodies.
Legal basis of the processing
The juridical principles for the processing of personal data have a legal foundation:
In the case of the end-user, it is to provide the service requested by the interested party;
In the case of the partner, it is the legitimate interest of the owner, on the basis of article 130 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 which provides for the possibility of sending promotional emails without requesting the consent of the interested party, provided that these are services similar to those of the sale and the interested party, adequately informed, does not refuse such use on the occasion of subsequent communications or following the instructions contained in the section "Right to oppose the processing at any time and related methods";
In the case of free trial applicants and event participants, the owner's legitimate interest is based on article 130 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 which provides for the possibility of sending promotional emails without requesting the interested party's consent, provided that they are services. similar to those for sale (in this case free) and the interested party, adequately informed, does not refuse such use in subsequent communications or by following the instructions in the "Right to object to processing at any time and related methods" section;
In the case of requesting support or contact, it is the legitimate interest of the owner, who offers a form for contact and subsequent subscription to the newsletter and other contact channels, of equal ease of use (telephone, email) which do not require subscription to the newsletter ;
In relation to the right to defend the rights of the data controller in extrajudicial and judicial proceedings as a legitimate interest of the data controller;
In relation to the security purpose, to fulfill a legal obligation to which the data controller is subject.
Consequences in case of failure to provide personal data
In case of failure to communicate personal data for the aforementioned purposes, it will be impossible to execute the service described above or in any case to follow up on the pre-contractual phase
Consequences of failure to provide consent
In cases where it is requested, consent is necessary in order to obtain the newsletter service mentioned above for the specific purposes. In these cases, if consent is not provided, the newsletter service will not be provided, as it is in any case a fungible and non-renunciable service (Cassation ruling, Section I, 2.07.2018 n. 17278).
Right to object to the processing at any time and related methods
The interested party has the right to object to the processing at any time, being able to unsubscribe from the newsletter directly by clicking the unsubscribe button at the bottom of any email.

Retention period
The personal data of the interested party will be stored:
up to the objection by the interested party that he no longer wishes to receive the newsletter;
in the case of processing for marketing and advertising purposes, the data will be treated up to 24 months after the last contact with the owner, except for the eventual establishment of contractual relationships and in any case up to the opposition of the interested party;
In any circumstance, for the longest time in which the data controller is subjected to preservation obligations for other purposes foreseen by law, regulation, or concerning limitation terms outlined by the jurisprudence.
