Kerio Connect
La nuova release è incentrata sulle migliorie lato client e, inoltre, vede l’implementazione del supporto per Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) in versione 16. Vediamo di seguito alcuni dettagli:
- Se un utente ha delle email nelle Bozze di MS Outlook o del Kerio Connect Client, ora saràin grado di accedere alla cartella e sincronizzarne il contenuto anche tramite device mobile. Per esempio, un’email cominciata in Outlook potrà essere terminata ed inviata direttamente dallo Smartphone.
- L’implementazione dell’EAS 16 porta con sé una migliore gestione dei Calendari e degli inviti con allegati sui dispositivi mobili. Se ad esempio un utente riceve un invito sul calendario, sarà in grado di aprirlo direttamente dal proprio dispositivo mobile e, in presenza di allegati, sarà in grado di visualizzare foto, documenti word, ecc senza necessità di collegarsi al suo client desktop (Outlook o Kerio Connect Client).
- Dopo le numerose richieste di tutti i Partner, sono finalmente aumentate le performance del Kerio Outlook Connector e ora è possibile fare ricerche molto più veloci all’interno del proprio store di posta.

Segnaliamo alcune novità legate alla sicurezza e alla stabilità del prodotto.Di seguito alcuni dettagli:
- Rimozione del codice PHP perchè ritenuto poco sicuro. Sebbene non siano state riscontrate particolari vulnerabilità, questa tecnologia non verrà più utilizzata.
- Upgrade del livello di encryption per IPSEC VPN con supporto all’ultimo standard strongSwan 5.5.1.
