Why Did We Created Sygma?

Sygma was born to make your job more efficient. Efficiency hides in a multitude of small details. An abacus should be enough for ordinary mathematical operations, but would you use it instead of a modern calculator?
Being in the System Integrators world for a long time, we have a deep understanding of the daily activities required to provide support and technical assistance to clients and we know which ones can be optimized. Being efficient is the secret to have success, save money and increase profit margins. With Sygma, we want to give everybody the opportunity to improve their role in the IT world: simplers, more efficient and more profitable.

Who Is Sygma Aimed To?

Sygma is specifically aimed to the IT sector and those who work in the IT technical support field. Sygma is the result of an experience on the field which addressed our own needs as IT operators, before being a resource for the whole Channel. Our history in the IT field has brought us to develop different solutions that could improve our job - internal job and our clients’. The first signs dates back to more than 10 years ago! They were about Web tracking of our support activities. Today this concept is commonly known as Ticket System. For us, it was of the uttermost importance to have an archive of activities that could be checked via Web by our technicians and by our sales agents. Moreover, we believed it was equally important to provide our clients with a way to check how and how much of our time was being spent, because the more transparency, and the more trust you gain.
It was the early years of the ‘00s, and a fistful of IT companies had already transitioned from the traditional paper statement to a Ticketing System. Knowing which and how many activities are performed by a particular technician or for a certain client helped us to understand and improve workloads and, at the same time, allowed us to predict how our commitment would develop, which is to say, our revenue.
Through the years we have kept on developing and improving Web applications for the tracking of information related to the systems of our clients. Sharing Excel files to find passwords and IP addresses is an incredible waste of time, and it wasn’t unusual that different technicians had different versions of the same file with contradicting information!
So Sygma was conceived.
Sygma is the perfect tool for IT Consultants, System Integrators and Managed Service Providers because you can manage every aspect of the work for a multitude of clients within a single console. But Sygma is a natural fit for the IT department of a single company as well: the needs of a similar department are the same of a System Integrator or of an MSP, save for the fact that the former have a single client (the company itself).
