Three levels available: StartUp, Business and Professional. The ideal choice for WordPress geeks!
With the WordPress Toolkit and WordPress Wizards, all system administrators, resellers and customers can easily manage their WordPress instances without the need for advanced skills.
Some of the features include:
RocketWeb is the Web Hosting solution specifically conceived for Geeks: people who know what they need and what they want, don't randomly choose the internet provider for their projects and don't just look at the cost.
RocketWeb: GoFast because it is the web hosting with guaranteed, superior and uncompromising performance. RocketWeb servers can host a predefined number of websites and this allows us to know in advance what performance can be achieved and thus be guaranteed to customers.
RocketWeb: GoScaling because it is the only hosting plan that can be completely customized. Unlike most hosting plan offers, RocketWeb allows you to choose parameters that are usually not indicated but are stated buried deep in the contracts.
RocketWeb is the unique, original offer and certainly unconventional, just as the customers it is intended for: the Geeks!
The technologies used by Rocketweb are industry leaders. They are the only ones that can offer a specific allocation of computational resources such as CPU frequency, dedicated RAM memory, and number of simultaneous connections. In addition, unparalleled security is provided by the Cage File System.
A high-performance caching system helps to have a site always available at the maximum speed.
When your project grows, your hosting plan can also grow according to your needs. If your site needs more CPU power to speed up calculations or other operations you can increase the CPU power by adding additional MegaHertz.
If your database grows in size, you may need to increase the reserved RAM memory and you can do it at any time. If contemporary users increase or if your site has many images and you need more disk speed, you can increase these values.
CloudLinux OS is a platform conceived for Providers offering Shared Hosting.
It improves web server stability, density and security through the isolation of each website, which is given only the allocated resources.
CloudLinux OS implements the LVE technology, which stands for Lightweight Virtual Environment, along with Apache and NGINX.
Each website is isolated in its own LVE environment with its own reserved resources, such as CPU, RAM memory, Disk I/O, Connections and Processes.
- Consistent performance over time
- Contractually defined resources
- Monitoring of resources used
- Security
- Higher Uptime
Thanks to CloudLinux OS, Rocketweb offering actually creates an environment that looks more like a Virtual Server than a shared hosting account.
You may wonder why your website, be it a CMS such as Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal or an ecommerce such as Prestashop, WooCommerce or Magento, is very slow at times, if not always slow. The reasons may be different. Here are some of the main infrastructural causes, with the exclusion of issues related to the site itself.
In 50% of the cases the slowdowns and downtime of shared Hosting web servers depend on 1 single website.
For 25% of the servers, 1% of the top hosted sites, is responsible for 50% of all requests.
For 50% of web servers, 1% of top hosted sites, is responsible for 35% of all requests.
This means that for a shared hosting web server, which hosts for example 200 websites, only 2 of the hosted sites use 35% to 50%.
The RocketWeb offer is a professional hosting offer because:

From the Control Panel you can constantly monitor the resources consumed by your website.
The goal of any website -a corporate showcase, a blog, an e-commerce site or a landing page- is to have the greatest number of visitors. And when your marketing campaign is launched on Adwords, Facebook or Twitter, and your DEM reaches the target audience or your SEO work gets its effects, then the number of accesses to the site grow (as well as the conversion rate you’ve worked for).
If the features of your hosting are adequate, visitors will not have to wait long to load the page, if otherwise.. they may be unable to browse the site within a reasonable time or even receive errors from the web server.
How to prevent so much planning, implementation and promotion efforts from melting away like snow in the sun? Let’s find out!
In your work, you certainly leave few things to chance, but what parameters do you use to consider that your projects are based on good foundations?
There are 3 possible answers:
If the choice of your hosting has been made on an empirical or emulation basis, then be aware that you risk compromising the outcome of your project, which you put the effort of weeks, months or even years on.
You will damage yourself and your client!
When a database is queried by a web page, the CPU plays a key role.
The web server will have to work for a certain amount of time and power (MHz) so that the request can be satisfied quickly. If the web server that hosts many other websites is overloaded, your site will not have the guarantee of being able to access adequate computing resources to perform the required task. The results can be different: it can be either a longer loading time, or in even a "time out" error.
Knowing how many MHz of CPU are guaranteed for your web hosting is a piece of information you cannot afford to lack.
Many hosting plans are cheap and allow you to have very large databases, up to 2GBs or maybe even more. To obtain adequate performance, you need to know that you need to allocate at least as much RAM as the size of the database (or the sum of the dimensions of each DB if using several databases).
When you find a Hosting that promises big MySQL databases, be sure that you are guaranteed that the memory allocated to your project is equal to or greater than the maximum size of the database. Otherwise what is not in the RAM will be read from the server disks.
RAM is 100 thousand times faster than disks in accessing databases.
So far, we talked about two fundamental elements: RAM memory and CPU. Not knowing the values of these two parameters may not seem like a determining factor at times. In fact, when you test a website, you perform all the necessary tests to see if it loads quickly… and everything seems to be going well.
But remember that in that moment there is only you who is testing the website: that means there is only 1 access! When the site goes into production and all the campaign activities start to bring the largest number of visitors to the site, the number of simultaneous connections will grow.
Knowing the maximum number of simultaneous connections per second that the web provider has guaranteed for your hosting is of uttermost importance. There is a close correlation between the number of simultaneous connections (processes) and CPU, RAM and disk I/O values.
It is not possible to think the web hosting is able to satisfy so many simultaneous connections without adequate guaranteed resources in terms of CPU, RAM and disk I/O.
Using Apache with NGINX at the same time can improve the power of the web server and speed up the hosted websites.
NGINX is an additional high performance web server which is normally used as a reverse proxy server. This web server is specially designed to distribute large amounts of static content (such as images, videos, scripts, code, JS, CSS, XML, etc.).
Unlike Apache, NGINX is much more effective when it comes to handling a large number of simultaneous connections. Another advantage of this web server over Apache is that NGINX has significantly less memory footprint per client connection.
To enhance the advantages of NGINX, Rocketweb Hosting servers are configured to use it as a reverse proxy server that acts between the Internet and Apache.
NGINX thus becomes a front-end web server that processes all incoming requests from site visitors.
Requests are then passed to Apache which distinguishes between static and dynamic content requests. When the request is for a static file such as images, CSS, HTML, etc.., Apache passes the request through all registered handlers and returns to NGINX a response that contains only the location of the requested file on the file system. NGINX locates the file and sends it to the client. If the request is for a dynamic file such as a PHP script, Apache executes the file and sends the response to NGINX, which delivers it to the client.
The combination of NGINX and Apache offers the following advantages:
